Founded in 2005, KHS brings decades of transportation experience together with a personal approach to customer service. From business development and customer relationships to daily operations and shipment coordination, our team works together to keep freight moving and customers informed.
Mark C. Suddreth
Founder & CEO
Mark founded KHS Transportation Solutions in 2005 after already spending nearly two decades in the transportation industry.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Mark began his transportation career in 1987. Today, his primary focus at KHS is business development and customer relationships—building the long-term connections that have helped the company grow.
For Mark, transportation has always been about more than moving freight. It’s about knowing your customers, understanding their businesses, and being someone they can depend on.
Outside of KHS, Mark enjoys spending time with his granddaughter Charlie and grandson Harrison, playing guitar, and traveling with his wife, Karen. Mark and Karen live in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.

Zachary G. Suddreth
Operations Manager
Zach helps keep the day-to-day operations of KHS moving.
Raised in Wilson, North Carolina, Zach graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2013. After graduation, he worked part-time with KHS before moving to Greensboro to begin building his own experience in the transportation industry.
In 2014, Zach returned to Wilson to work alongside Mark and help grow KHS. His primary focus today is daily operations, helping coordinate the details and communication required to keep customers’ transportation needs on track.
Away from work, Zach enjoys playing golf and watching sports, particularly the Carolina Panthers and North Carolina Tar Heels. He lives in Wilson with his wife, Shannon, their daughter Charlie, son Harrison, and their dog, Tim Allen.

William P. Cox
Operations Analyst
Bill joined KHS in May 2019 and works as an Operations Analyst, helping support the day-to-day transportation and operational needs of the company and its customers.
Born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, Bill graduated from East Carolina University in 2016. Before joining KHS, his professional experience included supervisory and retail management roles—experience that helped build the organizational and customer-service skills he brings to the KHS team.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and brewing beer. He also plays the cello and continues his involvement in martial arts.

Meredith A. Suddreth
Operations Analyst
Meredith has been around the transportation industry since KHS opened its doors in 2005 and now brings her own perspective to the company’s operations and customer service.
Born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina, Meredith graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2021 with a degree in Tourism Management. Her background provides a different perspective on travel, coordination, and customer service that complements the transportation experience of the KHS team.
As an Operations Analyst, Meredith helps support KHS operations while bringing a strong focus on the customer experience.
